Computers for childrens long-stay patient
Computers,
printers, e.mail, internet and now a Rotary School only for them. This
is the remarkable Event that media like Radio, Television, Local Papers
were talking about on Tuesday the 6th of October 2001 in
Turin, the Capital of Piedmont Region,
in NordWest Italy. The Event was the end of two years hard work and
scrupulous organization dealt by Rotary Community Corps to make the $35.000 Project a success. The money has been collected as deed of gift
for the good of the community by twenty Rotary Clubs all located in the
Turin Province. Twelve magnificent Teachers, of which only one male,
look after the business like a mission. Student’s age: from 5 to 17
years old. Six are the Sanitarian Departments involved: Oncology,
Neuropsychiatry, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Pneumatology, Hematology. Along
the hospital wards and at Rotary School’s, wind already their ways,
some pretty stars and vague dreams for
next Saint Claus.
